The best way I can think to describe this book is creepy, twisted and page turning!
This book follows Laurel’s life and how she is dealing with the disappearance of her daughter Ellie 10 years before. Just when it seems like Laurel may be able to move on after meeting Floyd one day in a cafe she is introduced to his Daughter Poppy… This book was an easy read that had me begging to find out what happened to Ellie and whether Floyd had anything to do with it. I would highly recommend it!

Spoilers
This book was so creepy! I guessed as soon as Poppy was introduced that she was Ellie’s daughter but I figured Flyod was in on Ellie’s disappearance. I also kept hoping Ellie was still alive somehow and that it was going to be a very happy reunion. I was actually pretty pissed off at how she was just left to die and that the author just kinda brushed over that part.
All in all I did really like the book and i liked the ending but I did feel sad about Floyd’s death.
