This is my second book by Ruth Ware as I first read The Women in Cabin 10. Much like that book this one is a little slow to start with but picks up faster and kept me guessing the whole time!
I mean if you got a random invitation to a hen (bachlorette) party for your childhood bestfriend who you haven’t spoken to in 10 years wouldn’t you just hope on the next train there too? The story follows Nora to the beautiful house in the middle of the woods where she is reunited with her former best friend and the others who have come to celebrate the bride to be.
With a cast of unusual characters brought together for one event along with the mystery of trying to unravel and figure out the turn of events at the party and at the same time trying to figure out what happened to draw these two best friends apart 10 years ago, this book will keep you up all night dying to find out what happens next.
