Easy and Delicious Supper Idea

So while grocery shopping the other day I noticed that Campbells’ Soups rebranded their cans and in doing so have removed one of my favorite recipes from the can. I luckily still had one of the old cans in my pantry so I decided I better share it so that I remember and you guys can try it! I love this recipe because it is so simply but so delicious! I serve it over Uncle Ben’s minute rice which makes it even easier. This is the perfect warm meal for a busy weekday winter night.

First thing you do is brown chicken breast in some oil. The recipe then says to add 1/4 cup of chopped onion but I never do.

I then remove the chicken from the pan and add the soup, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, 2 tbsp. of honey and 2 tbsp. of Dijon mustard. ( I double the sauce because I serve it over rice and love having lots of sauce to soak into the rice.

Once all the ingredients are mixed together add the chicken back into the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Turn the chicken halfway through.

Then simply put rice on your plate with a piece of chicken and pour lots of sauce on top and enjoy! It’s not the prettiest dish but once you taste it you won’t care. Another plus about this recipe is your left with only one pan to clean!
